Can I see which of my staff members made a change to a booking?
Yes, in most cases you can. Travel agency software usually keeps a history against each booking that records who was logged in, what they did and when they did it, so if a booking was amended, cancelled or re-issued you can open that history and see the name of the staff member behind it rather than guessing. This is what agency owners use when a customer disputes a change, or when they want to understand how a mistake happened before they decide how to fix it.
How much detail you get depends on your plan and on how the action was carried out. Anything done through your own portal or back office, by your staff or by an agent logging in under their own account, is normally captured. Things done outside the system are not. If someone rings the airline directly, speaks to the hotel, or logs into a supplier's own site to change something, your software only learns about it when the supplier sends an updated status back, so the history may show the result without showing a person's name against it.
There are two other honest limits. The history is only as useful as your login discipline, so if several people share one account the trail will point to that account and not to a person. And how far back the record goes, and whether you can export it, varies by plan, so very old bookings may show less than recent ones.
The next thing to check is whether every member of your team has their own separate login, because that single step is what makes the rest of the trail worth reading.
