Can I get a report of all my sales for the month to hand over to my accountant?
Yes, you can pull your sales for a month out of the software and hand that to your accountant. There is a reporting area where you pick a date range and see the bookings made in that period, with the customer name, the type of booking, the supplier, what the supplier charged you, what you sold it for and whether the money has been received or is still pending. Most reports can be downloaded as a spreadsheet, which is usually the format an accountant asks for.
You can also narrow a report down before you export it, for example only hotel bookings, only the ones made by one of your sub agents, only cancelled bookings, or only the ones still waiting for payment. That makes it much easier to match what a supplier has invoiced you against what you actually sold, rather than opening bookings one at a time.
There are two honest limits worth knowing. The report can only show what has passed through the software, so anything you arranged directly with a supplier outside the system will be missing unless you enter it manually. Also, the report is a sales record, not a tax return. Tax rules differ from country to country, so your accountant may still need to rearrange things to suit local filing, and which reports are available to you can depend on your plan and on the modules you are actually using.
The simplest next step is to run a report for last month, send it across to your accountant and ask whether the columns cover what they need, then tell us what is missing so we can check whether it can be added for you.
