Yes, in most cases you can take your customer and booking records with you, because that information belongs to your business rather than to us. The usual method is an export into ordinary spreadsheet files that you can open in any program or hand to whoever builds your next setup. Customer contact details, booking histories, invoices and sales summaries are the records agencies normally ask for, and those are the ones that come out most cleanly.
What travels well is the plain information, not the way the portal looks or behaves. Your design, your markup rules, your sub agent settings and your page layouts are part of the portal itself, so they do not carry over to a different system. The same is true of the supplier connections, since those are arranged for the portal you are using and a new provider would need to set up their own.
There are limits worth knowing. Which records are available, and whether you can run the export yourself or need to ask us to do it, depends on the plan you are on. Some supplier agreements also place conditions on how their rate and availability content can be stored or reused, so parts of that raw supplier data may not be yours to take away. Bookings already confirmed stay valid with the supplier regardless, so a trip in progress is not at risk.
Before you commit, ask us to confirm in writing which records you can export, in what format, and how much notice is needed, and take your own regular exports along the way so you are never starting from nothing.
