Can I have my travel website in another language as well as English for my customers?
Yes, in most cases you can offer your portal in more than one language, though how complete the translation is will depend on where the text comes from. The parts we control, such as the menus, buttons, search boxes, booking steps and the standard wording on your pages, can be set up in the languages you need, with a language switcher so your customer picks the one they are comfortable with.
The honest limit is the content that comes from the suppliers through the APIs. Hotel descriptions, room names, airline fare conditions and cancellation rules are sent to us by the supplier, and many suppliers only send that information in English. Some send a few major languages, some send none. So you may end up with a portal where your own wording is fully in the local language but a hotel description still reads in English. We cannot promise supplier text in a given language because that is not ours to translate.
There are also a few pieces people forget about until later. Your confirmation emails, vouchers and invoices are separate from the website itself, so if you want those in another language that needs to be arranged too. Languages that read right to left need extra layout work. And how many languages are included will depend on your plan, so it is worth raising it before you commit rather than after.
If you let us know which languages your customers actually use and whether you need the documents translated as well as the website, we can tell you what is covered and what would need extra work.
