Yes, customers can usually see whether hotel taxes and fees are included before they complete a booking. The hotel booking API may provide a price breakdown, wording about included charges, and details of any amount that must be paid at the property.

The information shown depends on what the hotel supplier sends through the API. Some rates include all known taxes and fees, while others exclude local charges, resort fees, or city taxes that the guest must pay at check in or check out. In some destinations, the final amount may also depend on the guest's age, length of stay, or local rules.

Your booking portal can display the available information beside the room rate and again before confirmation. However, it should not describe a rate as fully inclusive unless the supplier clearly confirms this. If a charge is only estimated, payable locally, or not supplied, that should be stated plainly so the customer understands that an extra payment may be required at the hotel.

Before offering a hotel rate, check that the full price details and any pay at property charges are visible on the review page, and ask glideFares which tax and fee information is available from your connected hotel suppliers.
