Along with the price and room type, you usually receive the hotel name, the address and map location, a short description of the property, the facilities list, the room descriptions and a set of images. Your website then displays all of this on the hotel page in your own design, so it looks like your content rather than something borrowed.

The honest limit is that this content comes from the hotel suppliers, and the quality is not the same for every property. Big chain hotels in popular cities tend to have long descriptions and plenty of good photos. Small independent hotels, guest houses and properties in quieter places sometimes have only a line or two of text and a handful of images, and the photos may not be recent. Star ratings follow the local classification of the country the hotel sits in, so the same rating can feel different from one market to another, and a few properties carry no official rating at all.

How much content you get, and whether you can store it on your side rather than fetching it each time, depends on the supplier agreement behind your account and on your plan, so it is worth asking us to confirm that for the suppliers you will be using. In most setups you can also add or replace text and photos yourself for the hotels you know well, which agents often do for the properties they sell most.
