Yes, in most cases, although how it works depends on your plan and on the accounting package you use.
There are normally two ways of doing it. The simpler one is an export, where your bookings come out as a file you upload into your accounts once a day or once a week, carrying the customer name, the travel dates, what you sold the booking for and what it cost you. The second way is a live connection, where each confirmed booking is passed straight into your accounting program so the sale appears without anyone typing anything. A live connection only works if your accounting package allows outside systems to send records into it, and not every package does, so that is the first thing worth checking before you plan around it.
It is fair to say that the two systems rarely line up perfectly. Your accounts may need a tax treatment or a ledger code that a booking record does not hold, refunds and part cancellations usually need a person to decide how they should be posted, and supplier invoices still have to be matched against what the portal recorded. Most agencies settle on a sensible middle ground, where everyday sales flow across on their own and a proper reconciliation is done by hand at the end of the month.
The useful next step is to tell us which accounting package you work in and whether you would rather start with a file export or go straight to a live connection, and we can confirm what is possible on your plan before you change anything in your bookkeeping.
