Yes, setting your own markup is a normal part of travel agency software, and in most cases you control it yourself from the admin area. The idea is simple. The supplier returns a net or base price, your rule is applied on top of it, and your customer only ever sees the final figure. They do not see the supplier price and they do not see your margin, so your selling price looks like your own price.

Most setups let you build more than one rule rather than a single flat number across everything. Common ways to split it are by product type, so flights can carry a different margin to hotels or transfers, by supplier, by route or destination, by cabin or room type, and by who is buying, so a sub agent logging in can be shown a different level to a walk in customer on your public site. Markup can usually be a percentage or a fixed amount, and you can normally keep separate rules per currency if you sell in more than one.

There are real limits and it is better to know them early. Some supplier agreements and some airline fare types restrict how the displayed price may be altered, and taxes and government charges are often not something you can mark up at all. What is possible also depends on the APIs you are connected to and on your plan, and a change you make may only show on fresh searches rather than on results already on screen.

Before you go live, write down which products you sell and to whom, start with one simple default rule, then run a few test searches and check that your invoice and voucher show exactly the figure you intend. Our team can confirm which of your connected suppliers allow markup and where they do not.

Saved.
