Yes, you can connect flight search and booking to a website you already own rather than starting again with a brand new portal. That is one of the main reasons a flight booking API exists. The API passes searches, fares, fare rules, bookings and ticketing between your site and the flight suppliers, and you decide how all of it is laid out on your own pages.

The honest part is that an API is not a finished website. It returns flight data, not ready made search boxes, results pages or checkout screens, so you need someone technical to build those pages and to keep them working as airline and supplier rules change over time. If you do not have a developer, the usual middle route is to keep your existing site for your brand, content and enquiries, and send the booking section to ready built pages that carry your own logo, colours and web address. Customers move between the two without really noticing, and you avoid a long build.

What you are allowed to do with the fare data depends on the supplier and on your plan. Some sources set rules on how long results may be held, how many searches you can run in a day, which fares may be displayed and what has to be shown to the traveller before payment, and ticketing and payment arrangements differ as well. Those terms come from the suppliers rather than from us, so we cannot promise identical freedom across every source you may want to add later.

A good next step is to decide whether you want full control of the design or the quickest route to taking bookings, then tell us which pages of your current site the booking flow should sit behind so we can advise on the better fit.

Saved.
